first snow

We were hit with our first significant snowfall in just over a year so I figured I'd take a walk up mass ave from central square to the river to take a look at how the snow changes common objects.
I am a big fan of how snow covers a tree:
the 1 bus heads down mass ave into cambridge:
outside of an MIT building:
a dusting of snow compliments boston
the boats are in for winter
a new foreground for one of my favorite views of boston

    the bus photo really caught my attention. i think it was the small bits of color in an otherwise b&w scene - and created au naturale.
