After missing out on the last few weekends, I decided to take the camera and tripod out to the longfellow bridge on a tuesday night. This is an area I have photographed many times before, so I tried to do view things a little differently.
the squiggly line on the right is a bicyclist
a taxi turning onto memorial drive
a train goes over and a car goes under
the longfellow in slightly abstract form
driving at night
this is my attempt at doing something with my photos. my goal is to challenge myself to be more creative with how I view life through the camera. my plan is to present the photos in their original format with only minor editing. I'll do my best to update regularly and share some past work when I am not getting out often enough.

benches
I asked courtney to give me a subject for a photo project today. She chose benches, which happen to be one of my favorite everyday items to photograph. I patagonia'd up and headed to the boston common and boston garden to see how I could creatively frame the bench.
a ring of benches around the boston common fountain so many nice places to sit up close and personal the perfect seat to watch the ducklings (and the many children trying to get a ride from the ducklings...) a collection of patterns one of my favorite views in the garden this path is littered with benches of all styles the stained wood bench is my favorite benches as far as the eye can see
